Cameron Jordan excited for new 'Cam-friendly' defense

The New Orleans Saints defense is going to look just a bit different heading into 2015. Aside from the obvious changes, such as Junior Galette no longer being in town, Mike Triplett of ESPN reports that the defense will be more "Cam-friendly."

By "Cam-friendly" he of course is speaking about defensive end Cameron Jordan, who just earned a five-year, $55 million contract this offseason. As Triplett pointed out, Jordan will be playing a role that was similar to that of Galette over the past few seasons.

“(The defense) is starting to feel a little bit more ‘Cam-friendly,’ for sure,” Jordan told ESPN. “Now I don’t have to deal with a guard and tackle on the inside, and I’m just dealing with a tackle and a tight end.”

The Saints are hoping for some big results from Jordan in 2015, specifically that he'll be able to get back close to the 12.5 sacks that he tallied in 2013. Jordan could be in for a huge year, especially since he seems to be a focal point of this defense now.
