Calvin Pace and Jason Babin have "plenty left" in the tank

The New York Jets enter 2015 with a revamped defense after greatly improving their secondary with the addition of cornerbacks Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Buster Skrine. The Jets also added defensive lineman Leonard Williams to a star-studded unit. However, the team's only move to the linebacking corps was to resign David Harris. That leaves the team with the same unit as last year.

Two of those players, Calvin Pace and Jason Babin are 34 and 35 respectively. They combined for seven of the team's 45 sacks in 2014. Despite being the two oldest players on the roster, the coaches believe that both players still have something left in the tank for 2015, specifically new outside linebackers coach Mark Collins.

"I think there's plenty of football left in Calvin," Collins said. "He does a lot of things well. He's tough, he's smart, he's reliable. He's a consummate professional. He still works his craft. I think Jason is the same way. I still believe he's got some juice in his legs."

While the coaches say there is something left in the tank, it remains to be seen if the two of them can really produce when training camp starts. With younger players behind them and both players holding low salary cap numbers, Babin and Pace aren't exactly locks to make the final 53-man roster.
