The Buffalo Bills took their talents to New England for Week 4 in hopes of starting a two-game winning streak early in the season. Did we get the results we wanted?

The Buffalo Bills managed to do something in New England that hasn’t been done since 1993.

In their 16-0 victory over the New England Patriots, the Bills became the first team since the to hand the Pats a shutout on their home turf. It’s a big accomplishment for a team that started this season with a loss vs. the Baltimore Ravens and a loss vs. the New York Jets.

Coming into this week, the Bills were hoping for a victory vs. the 3-0 Patriots and losses for both the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets — who were playing the Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks, respectively. If those three results were to happen, the Bills would secure a 2nd place spot in the AFC East.

Well, everything went according to plan for Buffalo. Their shutout victory was their second win in a row after a rough 0-2 start. On the other hand, the Cincinnati Bengals handed Miami a 22-7 loss and the Seattle Seahawks managed a 27-17 victory over the Jets.

With that, the Bills are only one game behind the Patriots — who are now at 3-1 — with the Jets and Dolphins trailing the Bills by one game at 1-3. Buffalo is now back on track and enjoying a 2-0 record since firing offensive coordinator Greg Roman and promoting Anthony Lynn to fill his void.

As we all enjoy our second straight Victory Monday, let’s take a good look at some of Sunday’s best highlights, stats and reactions from the team.

We shall begin with the highlights.

Although there was only one touchdown in this game, there were still plenty of great plays to watch over and over again.

Don’t let LeSean McCoy‘s lone touchdown catch scare you, there were plenty of plays that were worthy of the highlight reel on Sunday.

While we are talking about it, let’s go ahead and start with the 7-yard touchdown catch by LeSean McCoy. Noticing the pressure coming fast, Tyrod Taylor was forced to get rid of the ball quickly. Luckily, our man Shady was open to the right thanks to great blocking by Walt Powell. With only one man to beat, you know how Shady does. Let’s just say he tip-toes his way in like usual.

In case you were wondering how that TD catch made Bill Belichick feel, this was his exact reaction following the score:

Now that we have Bill frustrated, let’s get to a great defensive play by S Aaron Williams. Before the season started, we were unsure if we would ever see the same Aaron Williams play after missing nearly all of last season with a neck injury. Well, he’s been one of the better defensive players on this team when on the field and this highlight shows why:

Tyrod Taylor finished the game with 28 rushing yards, but half of those came on one run. That’s not what made that play a highlight play, though. Take a look at his juke move at the line of scrimmage in our third highlight — a 14 yard rush by Taylor:

Here’s another defensive play that pretty much describes how good Jerry Hughes has been for our defense this year. We are just four games in and he is already just one sack behind his total of all last season. Keep ’em coming, Hughes!

Our last highlight is going to come from Zach Brown, another defensive player that has simply been a workhorse in these first four games of the season. He finished Week 4 with 18 total tackles, one sack and 2 forced fumbles — one of them coming against Patriots’ quarterback Jacoby Brissett shown below:

If you were thinking the Buffalo Bills would be fired up after their shutout victory vs. the Patriots, then you were correct.

There’s a lot to be excited about if you’re a Buffalo Bills’ fan right now.

After pretty much everyone ruled this team out after a rough 0-2 start, they’re showing that they belong just as much as any other team. They proved it with a shutout victory against the undefeated New England Patriots on Sunday.

Without Tom Brady in the mix for the final time this season, LeSean McCoy and Rex Ryan made it known after the game that they weren’t ever going to let the Patriots take this game.

Here’s what our head coach said about the victory:

Here’s what LeSean McCoy had to say:

Tyrod Taylor was a fan of the Bills’ unity and their ability to trust the man standing next to them. Here’s his thoughts:

There were several other players that took to Twitter after their win against the Patriots. Here’s Ronald Darby’s message to #BillsMafia:

Zach Brown, who was all over the field on Sunday, sent a thank you message to the fans:

S Aaron Williams, who has been a very consistent player for the Bills this season, is already excited for the next month:

With two straight wins, the Buffalo Bills have a chance to get their third in a row with a victory vs. the Los Angeles Rams in LA. That game will start at 4:25 PM on Sunday, so let’s hope for a good week of practice.
