Buffalo Bills sign 5th-round draft pick, Jonathan Williams

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills have signed rookie fifth-round draft pick running back Jonathan Williams.

He was selected 156th overall out of Arkansas, where he missed his senior season last year because of a torn ligament in his foot. Williams was a dual-threat as a rusher and receiver in his first three seasons.

He had 2,321 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns and added 345 yards receiving and six TDs in 36 career games.

Williams joins a Bills offense that led the NFL with 2,432 yards rushing last season. He will be given an opportunity to compete for a job behind starter LeSean McCoy and backup Karlos Williams.

The Bills have now three of the seven players they selected in the draft.
