Browns vs. Dolphins: Inactives, live game thread
The Cleveland Browns are set to take on the Miami Dolphins with yet another player, Cody Kessler, lining up at quarterback.
It’s only Week 3 and the Cleveland Browns will be using a third starting quarterback. Is anyone surprised?
Cody Kessler will be making his NFL debut today against the Miami Dolphins, with Charlie Whitehurst serving as his backup. Hopefully, Kessler can bring some stability to the position.
He will try to do so without several key players, who are inactive due to injury. The inactive list includes:
The absence of Coleman comes after the rookie broke his hand in practice this week, while Nassib is also out with a broken hand.
Haden is the most notable inactive, out with a groin injury. He had two interceptions last week against the Baltimore Ravens, and his absence means Tramon Williams will slide into his starting spot, with Jamar Taylor holding down the other corner spot.
The focus throughout the game will be on the offense, and how the other rookie wide receivers will perform after not recording a single catch in the first two games. Rashard Higgins, Jordan Payton and Ricardo Louis will all have chances to impress fans today, and prove why they were selected in this year’s draft.
Just like every other Browns game ever played, this one should leave fans with a lot to talk about both during and after the game. As always, we here at Dawg Pound Daily want to keep the conversation going throughout the game. Hopefully there will be some positives to talk about.
Be sure to comment on this post throughout the game to share your opinions on what is happening on the field. Just remember to keep it civil.
