Browns CB Haden misses second straight day of practice

BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- Browns Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden was not on the practice field for the second straight day because of a hip injury.

Haden was injured in the second half last week in a win at Tennessee, but didn't miss a play. He rode a stationary bike again Thursday as his teammates worked out during the portion of practice open to reporters.

Browns coach Mike Pettine does not yet know if Haden will be available for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Haden missed the season finale last year against Pittsburgh with a hip injury.

Also, Browns starting linebacker Paul Kruger was not at practice. A team spokesman did not have a reason for Kruger's absence.

Kruger is having a strong second season with Cleveland, recording two sacks. He only had 4 1/2 sacks a year ago.
