Broncos' Roby responds to Gronk's 'low blows' zinger: 'That gets me amped up'

There's been no shortage of trash talk leading up to Sunday's AFC championship game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. Both teams have exchanged jabs, headlined by Tom Brady being called a crybaby.

It didn't end there, though. Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall said Rob Gronkowski is good because he "pushes off" and gets away with it most of the time. The Broncos also said they plan to hit Gronk "in his knees," which didn't sit well with the big man himself.

Gronkowski blasted the entire Broncos team on Twitter with this hilarious tweet.

Hilarious, it was, because it caught the attention of cornerback Bradley Roby. He didn't take offense to the quip -- he actually found it funny like the rest of Twitter did.

"It was a funny remark," Roby said. "I like stuff like that. That gets me amped up. I saw that last night, and I got wanting to play. So we'll see. That's all you can say. We'll see."

The same can't be said about Broncos left tackle Ryan Harris, though. He didn't find Gronkowski's joke funny, and doesn't plan to win the game on the Internet. He expects to win on the field.

"It's just a distraction," Harris said. "This game is going to be decided on the field on Sunday, not on some social media site."

Bulletin-board material is abundant ahead of this weekend's game. Both the Broncos and Patriots have plenty of motivation before they take the field on Sunday. Oh, and two guys named Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will be squaring off for the 17th time -- and possibly the last time.
