Broncos reportedly will play both Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch in Week 17
The Denver Broncos are out of playoff contention as they enter the final week of the season, and it sounds like they’re going to experiment a bit with nothing to play for.
According to Mike Klis of Denver’s 9News, the Broncos will start Trevor Siemian at quarterback but first-round pick Paxton Lynch will also play.

This is likely about the team trying to get one last look at Lynch before the season comes to an end with an eye toward 2017. He is likely the Broncos’ quarterback of the future.
With Siemian starting for much of the season, Lynch had time to sit back and learn, developing ahead of the upcoming training camp battle. Lynch will have to outplay Siemian, and possibly a new addition like Tony Romo, in the upcoming offseason, but there’s no doubt he’ll be the favored choice considering what the Broncos spent to get him in the 2016 draft.
