Broncos' Darian Stewart has a rich new contract to be thankful for
This Thanksgiving weekend is extra special for Darian Stewart, as the Denver Broncos announced they reached agreement on a four-year extension for their starting free safety.
The new deal is worth $28 million with $17.5 million in guaranteed money, NFL Network reports. Stewart took to social media to celebrate ...
... as did Broncos team president John Elway:
Stewart has been a key member of the Broncos' "No Fly Zone" since coming over with coach Gary Kubiak from Baltimore before last season. Stewart has 107 tackles, four interceptions, 13 pass breakups and three fumble recoveries with the Broncos, and is coming off a three-takeaway game against the Saints.
