Brett Favre's Hall of Fame shrine features Packers and Vikings jerseys

You don't have to wait for this weekend to get your first glimpse Brett Favre's spot in the NFL Hall of Fame.

In fact, this sneak peek of Favre's display should give Green Bay Packers fans plenty of time to work the rage out of their systems -- because Favre's display features jerseys from his days with both the Packers and Minnesota Vikings:

Green and gold on the left, purple and white on the right. What, no New York Jets jersey? And no Atlanta Falcons rookie uniform?

Here's a (very blurry) close-up of the jersey-based betrayal.

On the bright side, at least Favre's helmet and shoulder pads are adorned in Packers colors. Honestly, it's not the worst way to visualize Favre's career. We'll always remember him first and foremost as a Packer, but you can't just ignore the final two years of his career -- especially since Favre helped the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game in the 2009 season. Those years in Minnesota tell part of the story of Favre's time in the NFL. He was a man defined by one franchise, until he wasn't. That's the nature of the business.

As ESPN.com reports, Favre himself wasn't involved in that decision:

Indeed, this photo also provides a glimpse at the lockers for 2016 inductees coach Tony Dungy (on the left of Favre's display) and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Kevin Greene (on the right).

The 2016 class will be inducted Saturday, with Favre choosing his wife, Deanna, as his presenter.
