Bills turning attention to other draft needs, including QB

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) Having addressed the Buffalo Bills' immediate needs on coach Rex Ryan's defensive front seven, general manager Doug Whaley intends to turn his attention to other positions on the final day of the NFL draft.

Yes, that includes the possibility of selecting a quarterback.

Tyrod Taylor has already been named as the starter entering this season. But Taylor's long-term future is uncertain because he is entering the final year of his contract.

The Bills also lack depth, with former starter EJ Manuel the only other quarterback on their roster.

Buffalo has four picks over the final four rounds Saturday, starting with a fourth-rounder (139th overall).

Whaley focused on defense in making his first three picks by selecting Clemson end Shaq Lawson, Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland and Ohio State tackle Adolphus Washington.
