Bills' roster shuffle included placing receiver Woods on IR

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills have placed receiver Robert Woods on the season-ending reserve-injured list as part of a series of moves made to reshuffle a banged-up roster.

Linebacker Randell Johnson was also placed on reserve-injured on Tuesday. Offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson was placed on the reserve-non-football illness list, and receiver Marcus Thigpen was cut.

Woods hurt his groin and Johnson hurt his ankle in a 35-25 loss at Washington on Sunday in a game that eliminated Buffalo from playoff contention.

The Bills promoted receivers Dezmin Lewis and Walter Powell, and defensive end Jerel Worthy from their practice squad. Buffalo also signed free-agent receiver Greg Salas.

Buffalo also signed quarterback Zac Dysert and tight end Jacob Maxwell to its practice squad.

The Bills (6-8) host Dallas (4-10) on Sunday.
