Bills QB EJ Manuel takes majority of first-team reps in practice

Tyrod Taylor (knee) practiced for the second consecutive day on Thursday, but he remains a question mark to start for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

If practice is any indication of whether or not Taylor will play, it doesn't appear as though the Bills are planning for him to start. On Thursday, backup EJ Manuel received the majority of first-team reps once again, according to Rex Ryan. Taylor was limited and hasn't done much lateral movement, which certainly hurts his ability to make plays with his legs.

Taylor did start practice with the first-team during warm-up drills, but he later went off with the quarterbacks to do drop-back drills.

Taylor has been banged up throughout the season, but he has yet to miss a game. A sprained MCL is the latest injury for the quarterback, but he's also dealt with ankle and chest injuries. Manuel is expected to get the start if Taylor is sidelined this week, with newly-signed Josh Johnson as his backup.
