Bills place WR Marquise Goodwin (ribs) on IR, sign OT Jordan Mills

It's been a season of injuries for the Buffalo Bills thus far, and they continued to pile up this week.

On Tuesday, the Bills placed wide receiver Marquise Goodwin on season-ending injured reserve due to a rib injury. To fill his spot on the 53-man roster, Buffalo signed offensive tackle Jordan Mills off the Detroit Lions' practice squad.

Goodwin suffered the injury in Sunday's game after taking a hit on kickoff return. He was unable to return to the game, and the injury appears to be serious as he was placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Mills was likely signed for depth on the offensive line with right tackle Seantrel Henderson dealing with a concussion after also leaving Sunday's game. Mills started 29 games over the past two seasons for the Chicago Bears, before being cut on Sept. 6. He was then signed by the Dallas Cowboys, but was unable to carve out a role with the team.

If Henderson is unable to play this week in London, Cyrus Kouandjio will likely start at right tackle with Mills being his backup. Kouandjio took over for Henderson when he left Sunday's game, but struggled. The Bills are in need of a bye week, which comes after their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars this week.
