Bills' Jones out indefinitely

Bills receiver Donald Jones is out indefinitely after hurting his left ankle in a 31-24 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Coach Chan Gailey couldn't put a timetable on Jones' recovery, except to say, ''It's not a year, but it's going to be a while.''

Jones was carted off from the Bills' sideline late in the first quarter after making a 7-yard catch off a screen pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick.

An undrafted rookie free agent last year, Jones had taken over the Bills' No. 2 receiver spot. He entered the game as the team's third-leading receiver with 14 catches for 149 yards and one touchdown. He left with a pair of catches for 25 yards, including an 18-yarder that set up Buffalo's first score, Fred Jackson's 5-yard run.

The injury further depletes an already thin group of receivers. Buffalo already has two receivers on injured reserve: Roscoe Parrish (ankle) and Marcus Easley (chest).
