Bills jab Jets for not wearing their 'Color Rush' jerseys, then New York shuts them down

The New York Jets will wear their all-white jerseys -- with some additional tweaks -- instead of their all-green "Color Rush" when they take the field Thursday night against the Bills.

New York's decision is more about function over fashion, opting to wear the white ones to help color-blind viewers have an easier time telling the two teams apart. The Bills will wear their predominantly red "Color Rush" jerseys.

So the Bills thought it would be a good idea to poke fun at their in-state rivals for making a fashion faux pas.

The Jets weren't going to be schooled about fashion from a team from upstate New York.

The Jets won the social media war of words. We'll see whether the players can do the same on the field.
