Bills expect to have Mario Williams back vs. Texans
Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams is expected to play against his former team, the Houston Texans, on Sunday after testing his injured foot in practice for a second straight day.
Backup running back Karlos Williams' status is uncertain after missing his second day with an injured left shoulder.
Those were among the updates provided by coach Rex Ryan on Thursday.
Ryan said Mario Williams might not be 100 percent, but should play after the team's top pass-rushing threat missed last week's game at Kansas City.
As for Karlos Williams, Ryan said it's unlikely he'll play, but doesn't want to rule him just yet. If Williams can't play, Ryan said the Bills would have to add a running back as insurance behind LeSean McCoy and Boobie Dixon.
