Bill Romanowski calls Cam Newton 'boy' after Super Bowl loss
Sunday wasn't Cam Newton's day.
The Carolina Panthers quarterback got smacked around by the Denver Broncos defense in a 24-10 loss in Super Bowl 50. After the game, the criticisms started coming in droves.
People had problems with Newton's turnovers, maybe his effort level on a fumble, and for his attitude at his postgame press conference. Then there was ex-NFL linebacker Bill Romanowski.
This is what Romanowski had to say to Cam via a tweet that has since been deleted:
Later, Romanowski apologized.
Criticize Newton all you want. Don't call him "boy."
