Bengals' Eifert misses practice again, may sit Sunday against Browns

Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert may sit out Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns after missing his second day of practice Thursday.

Eifert, who leads the league with 12 receiving touchdowns, has been sidelined since suffering a pinched nerve in his next last Sunday against St. Louis. Eifert had three scores in the team's Week 9 win over Cincinnati.

If Eifert is unable to play, fullback Ryan Hewitt and third-round pick Tyler Kroft will likely share the load. The duo has just 10 targets between them this season.

Also sitting out Thursday's practice were cornerbacks Adam Jones (foot), Leon Hall (back), and Chris Lewis-Harris (ribs) plus safety George Ilokia (groin). Linebackers Vontaze Burfict (knee) and Emmanuel Lamur (ankle) were limited.
