Beckham-Norman rematch should headline Super Bowl

Odell Beckham Jr. vs. Josh Norman in a steel cage match with no disqualification would be the perfect halftime show for Super Bowl 50.

There was plenty of outrage after Beckham and Norman went at each other for 60 minutes in Carolina's 38-35 win over the New York Giants. The NFL responded Monday by suspending Beckham one game for ''multiple violations of safety-related playing rules'' after he drew three personal foul penalties.

So, OBJ got a little out of control. It's not the first time he looked like a WWE superstar on a football field.

Did you catch his perfectly executed suplex on Tampa's Alterraun Verner during an interception return earlier this season? That one would've made Brock Lesnar proud.

Beckham certainly has a WrestleMania appearance in his future. Meanwhile, Norman can talk trash better than some pro wrestlers.

Forget fines and suspensions. Put them in a ring and let them settle their differences.

Here are other overreactions from Week 15:

OVERREACTION: The Panthers are lucky to be 14-0. After the defense blew a 28-point lead, Cam Newton rallied Carolina to victory at New York.

REALISTIC REACTION: Every team needs fortunate bounces during a winning streak, but good teams create their luck.

---

OVERREACTION: The NFC East champion will be one-and-done against Seattle or Minnesota.

REALISTIC REACTION: It'll be a home game for the Redskins, Eagles or Giants, so don't them count. And playoff teams with losing records have won two straight first-round games.

---

OVERREACTION: Doug Baldwin has turned into Jerry Rice. Baldwin has 10 TD catches in Seattle's last four games. Only Rice ever did that.

REALISTIC REACTION: Don't carve Baldwin's bust for Canton just yet.

---

OVERREACTION: The Texans can't win the AFC South with Brandon Weeden. If Brian Hoyer doesn't return from a concussion, Weeden will start for Houston because T.J. Yates tore his ACL.

REALISTIC REACTION: Weeden is 5-19 as a starter with no wins since 2012, so he's due.

---

OVERREACTION: The Chiefs will catch the Broncos. It's eight straight wins and counting for Andy Reid's team.

REALISTIC REACTION: Brock Osweiler or Peyton Manning, the Broncos are reeling. But they'll be in Denver the final two games.

---

OVERREACTION: Steven Jackson will be New England's answer at running back. The veteran was unemployed before the Patriots signed him to help replace Dion Lewis and LeGarrette Blount.

REALISTIC REACTION: He's 32 and he's not in St. Louis anymore.

---

OVERREACTION: Losing the ''Honey Badger'' will cost the Cardinals a Super Bowl. Arizona's Tyrann Mathieu is out for the season after tearing his ACL against the Eagles.

REALISTIC REACTION: Even without the star defensive back, the Cardinals might be the team to beat in the NFC.
