Bears QB proposes to reality TV babe

Kristin Cavallari, formerly of MTV reality shows "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills," and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler are engaged, People reported late Monday.

A source close to Cavallari and Cutler told People that the couple got engaged over the weekend while on vacation in the Mexican resort of Cabo San Lucas.

"He surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to marry him," the source said.

Cavallari, 24, and Cutler, 27, have been dating since last fall.

Cutler led the Bears to the NFC Championship Game last season, where the team was defeated by the Packers after Cutler was knocked out of the game with a knee injury.
