Bears' Lamarr Houston carted off with apparent knee injury

Bears linebacker Lamarr Houston was carted off with an apparent left knee during the second quarter of Monday’s game against the Eagles.

Houston was rushing quarterback Carson Wentz, and saw his left leg twist as he cut to the left to get around a lineman. He was down, clutching his left knee, and had to be transported to the locker room.

Houston, 29, signed a five-year, $35 million deal with Chicago before the 2014 season. He recorded eight sacks last year, and made four total tackles in the Bears’ Week 1 loss to the Texans.
