Ban the dunk? What's NFL thinking?

The cries of "No Fun League" have gone up across the land. The NFL is just a bunch of killjoys, right?

What now? The league may legislate against dunking over the crossbar in celebration of a touchdown, Pro Football Talk reported.

Now, before everyone jumps up and down about The Man keeping us down, consider that maybe this might be a good idea. In November, New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham knocked the goal posts out of whack with a post-TD dunk.

So, yeah, the slam celebration can be exciting. Watching the crew come out with a level to fix the crossbar? Not so much.

Plus, if Graham really wants to push the boundaries of celebration, former teammate Lance Moore already has given him an example.
