Baltimore's Jimmy Smith proclaims himself judge of what is acceptable play for OBJ
Whatever you want to label him as, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham will have his emotions tested for the second week since his ability last week to keep his cool against Baltimore’s cornerback Jimmy Smith who will “fight” him if he determines that Beckham goes too far.

Testing Beckham’s limits to keep calm under pressure against a paranoid judge of emotions
According to a report published by ESPN on October 14, 2016 by Jamison Hensley, the mild-mannered Jimmy Smith will turn vengeful and prepare for an escalation in defending Beckham based on a difficult to quantify test of words and contact that go above and beyond legal aggressive contact.
“All of that extra hitting and talking, that’s not going to fly”.
There are doubts as to whether Smith’s inflammatory statements could add fuel to the fire of Beckham’s ability to maintain a tranquil presence while being guarded closely. Simply giving Smith an intimidating stare or inadvertently cursing could lead Smith to judge that Beckham has violated his injunction.
Should any incident arise out of a skirmish between the two players, the NFL rules could allow for greater penalties including fines and suspension. Without Beckham the Giants offense resembles the Jets. McAdoo cannot allow this to happen.
