Anthony Barr to see first preseason action on Saturday vs. Raiders

Minnesota Vikings outside linebacker Anthony Barr is expected to see his first action of the 2015 preseason this Saturday, according to Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press.

Barr, a UCLA product, was the ninth-overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. He started the first 12 games of his rookie season but missed the final four contests with a knee injury that required season-ending surgery.

"He’s feeling good," Zimmer said of Barr, per the Pioneer Press.

Barr made an immediate impact for the Vikings last season, registering 70 tackles, four sacks, three defended passes, two forced fumbles and one defensive touchdown. When healthy, the 6-foot-5, 255-pound linebacker can be a wrecking ball for Minnesota's defense.

"I think I’ll be OK if I can continue on the path I’m on," Barr said, via the Pioneer Press. "I’ve been recovering very well. I’m feeling pretty good, so just keep doing what I’m doing."

All eyes will be on Barr, 23, when the Vikings take on the Raiders this weekend.
