Aaron Hernandez's former home is now up for sale

The home of former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez is now up for sale.

According to a listing on RedFin.com, Hernandez's former five-bed, six-bath home in North Attleboro, Mass., hit the market Friday for a cool $1,499,000. Prospective buyers would be drawn to a decked-out master suite complete with a balcony, gas fireplace and wet bar. The 5,647-square-foot contemporary colonial also boasts a three-car garage, sauna, theater room, game room and an in-ground pool with a cabana.

Hernandez is currently serving a life sentence in prison after he was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2013 shooting death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd.

Photos of the home are available here, but anyone familiar with the Hernandez case will likely remember footage of Hernandez in the house taken from his home's own surveillance cameras. The grainy videos were used as key evidence during Hernandez's trial, as they showed the former NFLer walking into the home with what appeared to be a gun minutes after the murder.

Hernandez will not benefit financially from the sale of the home. Lloyd's mother, Ursula Ward, filed a wrongful death suit against Hernandez and asked that proceeds from Hernandez's possessions go to the Lloyd family. A judge ruled in August that proceeds from the sale of the home and car will be put in a court-held account until further orders from the judge.
