49ers vs. Seahawks: FanSided's AppTrigger Madden 17 Simulation Predicts Seattle Blowout of Niners

The San Francisco 49ers are going to suffer an embarrassing Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, according to FanSided’s AppTrigger. AppTrigger has been using Madden 17 to predict every NFL game this season.

Well, Madden 17 hasn’t exactly been kind to the San Francsico 49ers in 2016.

So far, fellow FanSided site AppTrigger has pegged the Niners to have three losses into the season. What the site is doing is using Madden 17 to predict each and every game on the NFL calendar this year. And the Niners have started out 0-3 so far.

This week, AppTrigger’s simulation features an ugly 40-10 San Francisco loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Yikes.

Here’s the synopsis from the simulation:

On paper — or at least in digital-format mode — the Seahawks are vastly superior than the Niners.

But the game can’t take into effect Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson’s ankle sprain. And it’s hard to believe a 40-point afternoon generated from that ugly Seahawks offensive line.

And I haven’t been reading running back Thomas Rawls will play either.

More from Niner Noise

Yet the Niners could provide that sort of “magic elixir” Seattle needs to get on track. Who knows? It’s a simulation anyway. And AppTrigger even admitted their predictions have fallen apart over the last two weeks.

    Let’s hope that trend continues.
