49ers OC hints Jarryd Hayne could back up Carlos Hyde in Week 2

If Reggie Bush is unable to go in Week 2, Jarryd Hayne could find himself with a much larger role come Sunday.

Geep Chryst, the 49ers offensive coordinator, indicated Hayne would remain the backup running back to Carlos Hyde, in the event Bush cannot play. 

Hayne saw action in Week 1 backing up Hyde after Bush left the game early due to what was later deemed a calf injury. 

Though the former rugby star endured a rough debut in the team's home opener, the coaching staff clearly believes in him enough to thrust him into such a situation early.
