Here is what to know about this oddsboard:

The Favorites: It's a familiar sight atop the AFC oddsboard, with the Bills on top, the Chiefs in second, and the … Jaguars in third? After sitting fifth on the board last week, the Jags have moved up despite suffering a loss to the Texans in Week 6 and having a bye in Week 7. Still, Jacksonville is 4-2 on the year and those losses have come by a combined 10 points, against Denver and Houston. Three of its four wins are over Cleveland (5-2), New England (4-3) and Cincinnati (4-2). The Jags will likely be favored in their next five games, as they face Indy, Baltimore (possibly without Lamar Jackson), Tennessee, the New York Giants and Tennessee again.

Division Races: Things are about to start getting spicy in-division. For instance, the Chiefs are 5-1 and will travel to face 5-2 Denver in Week 8, having already earned a dominant win over the Broncos in Week 1 (31-10). This is essentially a must-win for Denver. In addition, the Browns — atop the AFC North at 5-2 — will hit the road to play 5-2 Pittsburgh, and that is a crucial one for the Steelers, who lost at Cleveland in Week 4.

Here is what to know about this oddsboard:

The Favorites: How good is the NFC West? The top three names on the board are all from that division, with S.F. sitting at 5-1, Seattle at 4-3 and L.A. at 3-4. While the records for two of those teams aren't as impressive on the surface, consider the fact that Seattle just beat the brakes off of Kansas City in Week 7 and two of its losses are to the 49ers and Broncos by a combined six points. As for the Rams, they have been decimated by injuries, and three of their losses are to San Francisco, Denver and Buffalo.

Don't Count 'Em Out: The Cowboys were ninth on the board at +2050 last week, but have since moved up after their win over the Eagles on Monday night. How impressive is it to beat Philadelphia with Tanner McKee at quarterback? You be the judge. However, Dallas put an end to a two-game losing streak and leapfrogged Green Bay on this board, after the Packers fell to division foe Detroit in Week 8.
