2025-26 NFL MVP odds

Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams: -215

What to know: Stafford is holding steady as the MVP favorite, but his odds did shift slightly to -215 from -300 over the last week. Throughout the season, Stafford has consistently proven that he's still one of the league's most talented signal-callers. In the Rams' Week 16, 38-37 OT loss to the Seahawks, he threw for 457 yards and three touchdowns. In Week 15, he passed for 368 yards and two TDs, as the Rams got past the Lions 41-34.

Drake Maye, QB, Patriots: +180

What to know: The second-year QB is closing in on the top spot again, as his odds shortened to +180 from +425 after his incredible Week 16 performance. In the Patriots' 28-24 win over the Ravens, he passed for 380 yards and two touchdowns. On the season, he has 3,947 yards through the air and 25 TD passes. With a 12-3 record, New England has officially clinched its spot in the postseason.

Josh Allen, QB, Bills: +2500

What to know: Over the last three weeks, Allen's odds had gotten as short as +550 but that line has lengthened again after Buffalo's Week 16 matchup against Cleveland. In the 23-20 victory, the reigning MVP only passed for 130 yards. At 11-4, his Bills are still in the hunt to clinch a playoff position.

Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars: +3000

What to know: If the season ended today, Lawrence and his 11-4 Jags would be in the playoffs. Jacksonville's starting QB has been a centerpiece of the team's success this season, passing for 3,489 yards (ninth) and 26 touchdowns (fourth) on the season. In Week 16, he helped his squad get the 34-20 win over the Broncos, passing for 279 yards, three TDs and no interceptions.

Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers: +8000

What to know: At +8000, Herbert is effectively a long shot to win MVP, but like the other names near the top of this board, he's had an impressive year. He's passed for 3,491 yards (eighth) and his 25 TDs are tied for fifth in the league. In Week 16, he passed for 300 yards and two scores, as the Bolts bounced the Cowboys, 34-17.
