2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year odds: Hutchinson becomes new favorite

Week 2 of the NFL season is in the books, and for the second consecutive week, there's a new favorite at the top of the oddsboard to win Defensive Player of the Year.

T.J. Watt had taken pole position at +400 after Week 1, with his odds surging up the board from +850.

However, a huge game from Aidan Hutchinson has catapulted him to the top of the oddsboard after sitting in sixth just a week ago.

Here's a list of the favorites to win 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year via DraftKings Sportsbook as of Sept. 17.

NFL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR ODDS:

Aidan Hutchinson, Lions: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
T.J. Watt, Steelers: +450 (bet $10 to win $55 total)
Maxx Crosby, Raiders: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Micah Parsons, Cowboys: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)
Nick Bosa, 49ers: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)
Myles Garrett, Browns: +950 (bet $10 to win $105 total)
Joey Bosa, Chargers: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Khalil Mack, Chargers: +1600 (bet $10 to win $170 total)

Hutchinson was nothing short of dominant in Week 2, which helped his odds move from +1100 to +400 over the past week.

The third-year defensive end had a field day against the Buccaneers on Sunday, racking up 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble.

He is now the league-leader in sacks with 5.5 through two weeks.

Also leaping up the board over the past week is Crosby, who jumped from +1000 to +550 after a two-sack performance at Baltimore in Week 2.

Dallas' Parsons took a slight dip, moving from +450 a week ago to +650 this week. He had three tackles and no sacks in the Cowboys' Week 2 loss.
