2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds: Barkley favored; Chase looming
For the second year in a row, all signs point to a running back winning the NFL's Offensive Player of the year award.
Who will be named the league's top offensive star this season? Here's a look at the latest odds from DraftKings Sportsbook as of Dec. 17.
NFL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR ODDS:
Saquon Barkley, Eagles RB: -400 (bet $10 to win $12.50 total)
Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals WR: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
Josh Allen, Bills QB: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Derrick Henry, Ravens RB: +1600 (bet $10 to win $170 total)
Barkley has been the consensus favorite for several weeks, but Chase is making a late push.
Barkley leads the league in carries (285) and rushing yards (1,688) and is tied for seventh in rushing touchdowns (11). He took over the rushing yards lead with a 255-yard performance in a Week 12 win over the Rams.
Philly has also now won 10 in a row.
However, Chase has taken over the second spot on the board, long occupied by Derrick Henry, and his odds went from +750 last week to +400 this week, while Barkley went from -600 last week to -400 this week.
Chase is first in the league in receptions (102), receiving yards (1,413) and receiving touchdowns (15). In the past five weeks, he has 696 receiving yards and eight TDs.
