Zach LaVine addresses his reaction to getting drafted by Minnesota

Zach LaVine created a stir Thursday night when the Minnesota Timberwolves drafted him with the 13th overall pick in the NBA Draft. With cameras trained on LaVine for his reaction, he appeared to be ... well ... less-than-excited.

Friday, LaVine met the Minnesota media and asserted that while the reaction was regrettable, he is, in fact, ready to play for the Timberwolves.

"It's not a good first impression," LaVine said. That's not what I wanted. There's nothing I can do about it now, but I want to let everyone know I'm all in with this organization."

LaVine set Twitter ablaze Thursday night with his reaction as the pick was announced, dropping his head to the table and appearing to look dismayed. He uttered something toward his agent which is impossible to decipher for certain but led many to speculate he had dropped an obscenity. Plenty had fun with the moment:

Was it actual disappointment? Was it just a wave of relief at hearing his name called? We may never know. Either way, you probably can't blame a 19-year-old kid from UCLA who is now doomed to Minnesota winters on a team that is likely on the verge of losing Kevin Love.
