Wizards' Summer League schedule released
The first games of the Washington Wizards' schedule for Summer League have been announced.
The Wizards will travel to Las Vegas to compete in the annual offseason competition.
While the full rosters have yet to be announced, the Wizards own the No. 19 and No. 49 picks in the NBA Draft. Typically, Summer League is the first chance to see draft picks in live NBA action.
Here's more from Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post:
The Washington Wizards will field one of the 24 teams in this year’s 11-day, 67-game Las Vegas Summer League and the squad will open its three-game, preliminary-round schedule on July 10 against the Phoenix Suns at Cox Pavilion.
Washington will then face the D-League Select Team on July 11 at Cox Pavilion and the Dallas Mavericks on July 13 at Thomas & Mack Center before being seeded for the league’s tournament. Every team is guaranteed to play at least five games.
