Wizards coach jokes about Kris Humphries: 'He's our best shooter'

Kris Humphries is shooting a mind-numbing 46.4 percent from behind the three-point line, on 3.5 attempts per game.

He's already made 11 more threes this year than in every season up to this point combined. It's remarkable, but also necessary.

The Washington Wizards need him to stretch the floor, and so long as he makes outside shots Randy Wittman will be happy, per The Washington Post:

If Humphries can make threes and attack closeout defenders, the Wizards will be that much harder to defend.

“He’s our best shooter right now,” Wizards Coach Randy Wittman joked. “No, he was big. Shot them with confidence. He didn’t turn them down. . . . He missed a couple early in the first quarter that were good looks and he kept going, then he got on a string.”
