Watch Dirk Nowitzki taste-test the ridiculous new 'Dirkburger'
In less than a week, the Dallas Mavericks went from unveiling their Dirk Nowitzki-themed "Dirkburger" to having the Big German take a bit out of his cheeseburger-shaped self.
For $12, you get a beef patty topped with bacon onion marmalade, arugula (which Nowitzki simply called "leaves" during his taste-test) and jalapeno beer cheese. Yet Nowitzki said that he originally would have preferred a turkey burger -- at least until he was informed that nobody in their right mind wants to eat that impostor food.
Now, is it just us, or did Nowitzki not really have much of a reaction when he chomped down on the "Dirkburger"? He complimented the flavor combinations, but his face reveals his true reaction:
We're guessing we know what was missing for Nowitzki to truly enjoy his namesake foodstuff: A couple nice, cold beers.
Yep, that's more like it.
