Warriors SG Acie Law has surgery on wrist

Golden State Warriors shooting guard Acie Law is recovering after surgery to remove bone spurs in his injured right wrist.

The Warriors said Friday's surgery in New York on Law's wrist was successful. He will be out the rest of the season and be reevaluated by team doctors in four weeks.

Law had missed the last seven games with the injury. He appeared in 51 games combined between Memphis and Golden State this season, averaging 4.2 points and 1.6 assists in about 14 minutes per game.

The Warriors next play the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
