Warriors players react to tragic passing of Craig Sager
Some of the Golden State Warriors paid their respects on Twitter after the tragic passing of legendary reporter Craig Sager.
The NBA lost a legend tragically on Thursday afternoon. It was announced that legendary reporter Craig Sager had passed away after a long standing battle with cancer. Sager was one of the most respected ever in his industry and was one of the best to ever bring in-depth reporting in the middle of a game and bring a sense of clarity as well.
He wore the best suits that money could buy and they made him stand out just like the commitment to excellence with his craft. With Sager tragically passing away, several players around the NBA began paying their respect to one of the best ever. Some of the Golden State Warriors to took to Twitter right away to pay their respects.
Man rip smh….. never really talked to him like that but he still had a great spirit from what I saw! #sagerstrong pic.twitter.com/Tj62ebxeMe

While the news is still fresh, expect plenty of more players to say something and many more tributes will be pouring in. There will be a minute of silence at all NBA games to honor everything Sager did for the sport and his profession in general.
No one was able to connect with the players on the level that he was able to and that is what separated him from everyone else in his profession. He was able to take what was a quality interview with the best athletes in the world and make it feel like a normal conversation everyone could relate to.
It’s not surprising the likes of Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and others have already chimed in. Getting to be interviewed by Sager was an absolute privilege for the superstars of the game and he clearly impacted their lives as much as he did theirs.
