Twitter won't let Blake Griffin forget about punching a Clippers employee in the face

Last season couldn't possibly have gone any worse for Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers. Griffin went down with a quad injury in December, but then suffered a self-inflicted broken hand after punching Matias Testi (a Clippers team employee and personal friend) in a February incident.

He returned just in time for the playoffs, but re-aggravated his quad injury in Game 4 of a first round series against the Blazers. Griffin was out for the rest of the postseason, as was Chris Paul, who suffered a fractured hand in the very same game. The Clippers were eliminated in six.

As training camps get set to open next week, Griffin apologized once again to Clippers fans in a lengthy and entertaining piece for The Players' Tribune.

But despite his repeated attempts to take responsibility and move on, there are (of course) some social media trolls who aren't ready to forgive and forget just yet.

Once the new season gets going and the Clippers are back to their winning ways, fans will eventually move on. But in the meantime, Griffin may not want to check his mentions for the next month or so.
