Steven Adams is treating his almost game-winner like 'an ex-girlfriend'
The Thunder suffered a crushing one-point loss to the Mavericks in Game 2 on Monday, as Steven Adams' game-winning tip-in was 0.1 seconds too late.
While most would be upset after such a loss -- and the potential glory of making a game-winner in the postseason -- Adams didn't seem to be fazed by it at practice on Tuesday.
To him, it's simple. You just have to move on (via Royce Young):

That's certainly one way to put it.
Adams isn't an emotional or sensitive player, and such blunt comments only further confirm that his stoic persona.
The Thunder are still heavy favorite to win this series, of course, and one loss isn't the end of the world. As long as they can make some tweaks to their late-game offense, they'll be fine.
If you're looking to date an NBA player, though, you should maybe pass on Adams. He'll move on quickly.
