Steve Kerr yells at Draymond Green for poor defense (Video)

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was not happy with defensive stalwart Draymond Green against the San Antonio Spurs.

With the enigma that is Draymond Green, there are going to be a ton of eyes on him going forward. Whether it’s good or bad, people are going to pay attention to Green. It’s a bit of an unfair situation, but it comes with a large personality. On Tuesday night, head coach Steve Kerr wasn’t happy with Green early.

As the San Antonio Spurs and LaMarcus Aldridge were getting any looks on the floor that they pleased, Kerr was not happy with the way Green was playing. Kerr would call for a timeout and he was absolutely livid with Green, as he proceeded to give him an earful on the floor.

The Warriors were not sharp in the first half against San Antonio and even though they made an attempt to cut the deficit late, the Spurs pushed it back to double-digits. They were getting way too many clean looks and plenty down low.

That’s where the Warriors rely on Green to step up and his head just wasn’t into it early. That’s why Kerr felt he needed to let one of his best players know that he needed to step it up and force some more difficult looks.
