Stephen Curry tweets fond farewell to David Lee -- along with a video poke
With David Lee set to move on from the NBA champion Golden State Warriors to the Boston Celtics via a trade for Gerald Wallace, it's time for fond farewells from Lee's former teammates.
Lee, a former All-Star who took a supporting role with Golden State this season, was respected by his fellow Warriors — as shown in this tweet from Draymond Green:
The part of the business that sucks! Wish my big bro @Dlee042 nothing but the best and I appreciate you showing me the way Champ!!!Much love

Buddy Stephen Curry felt the same way, though it didn't mean the NBA MVP couldn't accompany the well wishes with a good-natured jab.
Curry's farewell tweet includes a link to a video of Curry blocking a shot by Lee when Lee played for the New York Knicks. The clip also features Lee jawing at Curry about the play, or, as the video's title says, "Stephen Curry blocks David Lee and David Lee cries about it."
In honor of my boy @Dlee042 taking the next step in his career, this is how we started our relationship! Love you bro http://t.co/25UqWFtSJj
