Stephen Curry picked by just 10% of NBA GMs to win MVP

LeBron James is the runaway favorite among NBA general managers to win the 2016–17 MVP award, receiving 46.7% of the vote in this year’s survey

Warriors star Stephen Curry—who has won the last two MVP awards—was picked by just 10% of GMs, tied with James Harden and behind Russell Westbrook, who was picked by 23.3%.

Curry, of course, will likely lose some shots to newly-acquired superstar Kevin Durant, who was picked by 6.7% of GMs to win MVP, in fifth place.

Golden State and Cleveland were both picked by 96.7% of GMs to win their conferences.

The rest of the GM survey is available on NBA.com.
