Stephen Curry has nothing but praise for Lakers rookie D'Angelo Russell

The Lakers pulled off the biggest stunner of the season Sunday, topping the seemingly unbeatable Golden State Warriors. The 13-51 Lakers haven't had much to gloat about this season, but that result was definitely one.

But despite being on the receiving end of the loss, Stephen Curry took nothing away from the Lakers and especially rookie point guard D'Angelo Russell.

While conversing with fans on Slyce -- a social media app he co-founded, the reigning MVP didn't hold back on what he thought about Russell.

Russell has turned a corner since this month, starting with his 39-point outburst against the Nets in the Lakers' 107-101 win. The No. 2-overall pick played well against the Warriors, finishing with 21 points, five assists and four steals, which probably prompted Curry to bestow such high praise on the rookie.
