Spurs' Boban dunks all over Dallas and gets T'd up for his trouble
San Antonio Spurs rookie Boban Marjanovic is the gentlest of giants. Most of his dunks can safely be described as "polite." But against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night, Marjanovich took out some frustration against poor Jeremy Evans.
It was scary and hilarious:
The 27-year-old international sensation is now averaging 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. That doesn't sound very impressive. However, in 180 minutes of NBA action, his PER is a comical 31.8 and he's shooting 60.8 percent from the floor.
By comparison, Stephen Curry's PER is 31.7, which means if you choose to argue that Marjanovic is better than Curry, nobody can and/or should stop you. Numbers don't lie.
And how can anyone possibly root against a man who's normally so gregarious? Just listen to that laugh!
