Russell Westbrook uses poor opponent as a prop for crazy buzzer-beater

What the heck was in the air at the Oklahoma City Thunder game Sunday night?

At halftime, a dude from Stillwater nailed a half-court shot to win $20,000, which he said will go towards Christmas presents, student loans and his girlfriend (in some order).

Just before that, though, Russell Westbrook did something amazing to end the first half against the Utah Jazz.

With 0.7 seconds on the clock, there wasn't much time to get a good shot off, so Westbrook got creative. Inbounding the ball from the baseline, Westbrook bounced the pass off Rodney Hood's back, quickly stepped in bounds to catch the deflection and then immediately fired up a shot to beat the buzzer, draining it.

It's impossible to watch this too many times (via the NBA).

Oh, and OKC won the game. Nice night for everyone rooting for the Thunder.
