Russell Westbrook becomes 6th NBA player in history to record 50 career triple-doubles

Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook went absolutely berserk Saturday afternoon, posting a stat line of 26 points, 22 assists, and 11 rebounds during his team's 114-101 victory over the Phoenix Suns at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Not only were his 22 assists a single-game career high, but Westbrook became the first player with a 25-point, 20-assist triple-double since Magic Johnson did it for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 1988 season. His final assist of the game came via a ridiculous Shammgod move which opened up teammate Steven Adams for the slam:

Westbrook elaborated on the move and his performance following the game:

Furthermore, this is Westbrook's 13th triple-double of the season and his 50th ... yes, that's not a typo ... 50th triple-double of his career. He is now one of six NBA players ever to achieve this feat. And oh, by the way -- he's only 28 years old.
