Rockets' Dragic out with flu-like symptoms

Houston guard Goran Dragic has been scratched with flulike symptoms from the Rockets' game against the New Orleans Hornets on Sunday night.

Dragic, acquired from Phoenix shortly before last Thursday's NBA's trading deadline, made his Rockets debut Saturday night, scoring six points in 10 minutes in Houston's victory at New Jersey.

Dragic has played 49 games this season with two starts, averaging 7.3 points and 3.1 assists.

The Rockets also were behind schedule arriving at the New Orleans Arena. Their downtown hotel is on a Mardi Gras parade route and they did not have a police escort, so the normally 10-minute drive took an hour for their first bus and about 45 minutes for the second.
