Report: Ty Lawson's people want him out of Houston

Houston Rockets guard Ty Lawson is in the middle of a nightmare season, and his representatives may want to get him out of Houston while he still has some value left around the league.

Lawson's struggles this season have been well-documented, but the numbers are truly startling. Lawson is averaging just 5.9 points on 32.9 percent shooting from the field while playing in 25.2 minutes a game.

Lately, Lawson has been just a small part of the rotation, as interim head coach J.B. Bickerstaff has played Patrick Beverley big minutes at point guard.

And that, apparently, is the reason why Lawson's representatives want him out of Houston:

Selling low on Lawson might be difficult. Point guard is one of the league's deepest positions, and there are character concerns with the former Nuggets guard, who will serve a two-game suspension as the result of a DUI charge.
