Report: Rockets' Howard (knee) could miss at least a month
Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard could be sidelined for at least a month because of his sore right knee, ESPN reported Sunday.
Howard has missed the past four games, and sources tell ESPN that his condition will require him to remain on the sideline for a period of "weeks."
However, the team believes he will return to action in plenty of time to prepare for the postseason. Howard missed 11 games earlier this season because of problems with the same knee.
Howard is averaging 16.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game this season.
At 33-15, the Rockets currently are fifth in the Western Conference.
